Very Easy Drawing 4 Kids + Fun Art Tutorials for You!

My Story

It all started with a love of gorgeously-illustrated ‘Twinkle’ annuals and the imagery in the old Nancy Drew books which lead to me sketching my own illustrations. I knew at aged 4 that I wanted to draw pretty pictures for a job!

Flash-forward 20+ years, I’ve enjoyed seeing my designs in children’s books, stationery ranges, cards and more for publishers ‘Parragon Children’s Books’, ‘Top That! Publishing’, UK Greetings and many more…

A few years ago, I decided I wanted to pass-on my passion for drawing and painting and general mess-making and ran a little art club for children. My original plan was to run it Tuesday evenings for 6 weeks. Two years later, and the same children were turning up, plus a few more besides. I was very pleased with that 🙂

Now my children are teenagers now, I can’t get them to sit with me and do fun art sessions… they have lives full of friendships, their phones and schoolwork. So I decided I’d put together this little blog to help you and other Mums and Dads enjoy more creative times together! Pop back as I’ll be adding fun, ‘step-by-step’ drawing tutorials.

I also have a passion for helping Mums work from home around their kids with a creative side hustle. I love nothing more than to work from home with my shitsu dog -(Poppy) – snoring by my side, and hearing my two daughters laughing (or squabbling, depending on the weather)…

I couldn’t have it any other way 🙂
